So here is my take and my takes from Hair fair 2009. I tryed for a longish time to get in one of the sims. I realized quickly that the main booths I wanted to get to, the sim they were in was offline. So I figured if I could get to the sim border, perhaps when it came back up, I could be one of the ones that made it in. So I walked to the border in my minamalist look and shortest hair I owned. There I found a few others with the same exact notion I had. To illustrate here are a few photos:

We all joked for a while that with our low render avatar looks, we should call it, “Lack of Hair Fair.” Perhaps really a good lesson in relating to what the cause is all about in the first place. I waited at the sim border longer than I even care to admit in hopes of getting in. After doing so, suddenly to my dismay the sim I was in went offline and logged me right out. I logged back in using return to last location in hopes that both sims would be up. Instead I arrived at home and couldn’t get back to Hair Fair again. So at that point I decide to just throw the towel in for a few hours.

Finally I tired that evening and was able to get to the spots I was most eager to visit. I got some demos and found I was not going to be able to view them in a reasonable amount of time because of lag or whatever the issue was. I really didn’t have much issues with moving around but the demos just would not load. Here is a photo of me trying to peek at demos:

I then decided I was just going to have to buy a few hairs and be glad that it was going to a good cause. I bought some here and there. Mainly the ones I picked up were from Refuge, Truth, and Maitreya. I didn’t find any others that really spoke to my taste. Here are some photos of my purchases:

While I was in the sim waiting for the other sim to go back up I met a fellow blogger. She was wearing fantastic hair. I inquired as to where it was from. And honestly as far as hair goes for the weekend, this new one that I got based off her avatar is my favorite. I was able to find the seller at Barerose. I forget the shop name, as usual. But if you go to Barerose and look at the other vendors you will find it. Here is that hair is pictured below:
