Templum Ex Obscurum

Baron Grayson’s Templum Ex Obscurum is nothing less than breathtaking. I went there last night and was so moved by it’s darkness and beauty. I took some time to read up on what was going on with it. He sold it to another resident and is making room for a whole new build in his sims. I read in his profile that he invites people to come and watch as the new sim is being built. I will certainly take advantage of that after viewing Templum Ex Obscurum! If you haven’t been to Templum Ex Obscurum, all I can say is, what are you waiting for??? Go now!

Oh and for you SL fashion junkies the dress in the photos is a tube dress from Blaze. It cost a whopping 150L and is really a steal at that price. Mix it with some Stiletto Moody heels and you are ready to go out any where on the grid!

Fall fashion and strange sightings…

I like to hang out at the Bondage Ranch once and a while. Mostly just for nostalgia. So, much to my amusement, there were many sights to photograph.

Let’s start with the inch tall or so avatar. I assume he just runs around looking up skirts and spying on people.

Next we have some real freaky eyeballs. I sure hope this was just SL playing tricks and that her eyes aren’t really like that all the time!

This last one really took the cake. Just goes to show some people you shouldn’t toy with!

Now as for fashion. I picked up two great outfits today. The first is because it is finally starting to cool off a little here in Georgia. It is a suit that can be found at Solange. It has lots of layer options and over all passes my strenous clothing test.

Also hot off the press from Solange is a sexy little number called Candy.

Random Post

I do not have anything really organized to post today. I did have two items that made me want to snap off a few pictures. I will share those with you and tell you a little about them. I also added a few links. It is no secret that I enjoy oddities and likely that is what you will find when viewing a few of my links. So let’s get to it, shall we?

First I was working on my house when a lovely little number in red from Slick called Cicero arrived. Seeing as red is my favorite color I had to try it on right away!

This next look was because of a skin I saw on one of the blogs I have listed. It is the same creator that did the cry one. This one is called cyber skin. The skin also came with the shape. I will enjoy using this skin once in a while!

Also I was trying to post this as a video on the blog but instead you will have to watch it. It is an indie short film. Sometimes this is how I feel about SL. Keep in mind it is a film short so don’t have high expectations. But I think it is really good for a short. Click here.

Love at first sight!

I knew the second I saw it, this was love. I had to have it for my very own! I have taken some photos of it to share with you. Sadly my graphics card is a piece of shite so you can not appreciate the true beauty. I am going to re-take the photo set when I get my new and improved graphics card. But perhaps you can get some idea of how truly beautiful my new love is looking at this for now.

Cyborg and Razor Girls

I started a new group in SL called Razor Girls. I have been reading up lately on cyborgs and gender equality. I am still working on what the group will do but for now if you are interested in Molly Millions, female cyborgs, and cyborg wears in SL you should join! I have been working on creating a good cyborg character. I really would love any advice on where to get good cyborg headsets. If you know of a good headset please comment on it and leave the creators name!

The Blanks

I had received a tip off that some of my fellow sentient beings were being over worked at the Blank Factory. So I set off to find out just what was going on there.

The factory appeared from the outside to be a cheerful work place. It was buzzing, whirring, and very colorful.

I went in to interview my fellow robots to make sure they were being treated well by their human counter parts. Each one that I spoke to assured me that it was true, their work brought them joy and pleasure, and nothing was amiss. One encouraged me to try it out for myself and become a Blank for a day. So I did!

I hopped on the conveyor belt and my transformation as a Blank began. The conveyor belt takes you through the factory and at different points it adds things to turn you in to a Blank Robot.

Once completed you arrive in a large open room where you can personalize your new robot self. You, the robot, has to pay a small amount of Linden to add little extras. Here is what my final Blank looked like:

Once you are a Blank you can work in the factory. They are clever little camping machines. Most Blank Robots there danced while they worked. But the best part about being a Blank was the recreation options for your time off. You can shop, take a boat ride, there is a special builders area, you can even fly a space ship around but I never found the ship. Sim boarding is encouraged and there are some great boards for sale.

I can only conclude after all the fun I had becoming a Blank Robot, that they are treated fairly and are actually having a lot of fun over there. So grab your friends and go visit the Blanks in Xntra City for a good time!

A good club is hard to find…

To start the weekend off I decided to go visit this club in SL that I had heard about. It is supposed to be the best award for club design and some of the best music in Second Life. I would like to give it another award however. It is also the hardest club in SL to find. Let me go on a short rant here. I have been looking for things all weekend it seems. So for you content creators, if you make something really wonderful, why make it so hard to find??? Now back to this club. I grabbed my girl Kat and we headed off to the Sim the club was in.

The club is called 5th Element. It took forever to find in search. I think finally I only found it in search because some one had it in their profile. When we arrived in the Sim we are surrounded by prefab houses. So we are both like wtf? In the spirit of adventure we continued to roam around. We looked at the houses. Eventually we came to this bridge. Now I am certain those of you who know me know I have a fascination with buildings. This also applies to bridges. I am known to get out of the car IRL just to inspect a bridge if I can. Any how this bridge was beautiful. So I told my girl, no club but let’s check out this bridge!

Naturally I tested to see if I could rez lovescene. But alas, not able to rez anything. So we shot a few pictures. Then we proceeded down the road wondering where such a grand bridge could lead us. Well eventually it lead us to the exact spot we had been looking for, the 5th Element. The club was packed, the lag was monstrous, and the dj, oh the dj was spot on. The 5th Element club does not allow photos, so you will have to check it out yourself. But if you like dancing and music made to bump and grind to, I suggest you go. Just look for the bridge and stop to take a few photos along the way.
